Soshi was an ancient
Chinese philosopher who preferred nature as it was
and loathed people exploiting it. He coined the
phrase "mukayu," implying that you can
liberate yourself mentally without any preconceptions
in the state of nothingness, just as your room is
filled with light if there is nothing in the room.
Based on this concept, Beniyamukayu is proud to
invite you to the simple design of the property
in both its interiors and exteriors, enabling you
to create your own styles of spending the time and
appreciating the space while you are there. |

The architect Sei
Takeyama introduced a sophisticated urban design
to Yamashiro Onsen, one of the most famous hot spring
resorts in Japan. Each guest room that he designs
features a garden complemented by sunlight shining
deep into the room during the day. The manager,
the madam or the owner oneself serves you a cup
of tea in the little tea room located in the back
garden. The combination of the simple modern design
and warm hospitality will make you feel at home. |

Beniyamukayu places
great emphasis on various types of spa treatments
including aroma-therapy massages and oil body treatments,
which are not readily available in other hot spring
resorts in Ishikawa Prefecture. These treatments
can be effective, taking into consideration the
healing properties attributed to the hot spring. |
