The supply of the tour by TRJ to you is subject to these conditions.
If the person making the booking is doing so on behalf of
a party, that person must have the authority to accept these
conditions on behalf of the entire party and is responsible
for ensuring that each member of the party is kept fully informed
of all the details of the booking. Each member of the party
should read these conditions carefully and contact the company
with any queries that may arise.
1. GENERAL

The pronouns "we" and "us" refer
to The Real Japan and the pronoun "you" refers
to you and/or all the members of your party. .

We organize tailor-made itineraries
for international travelers wishing to experience authentic
Japan. Therefore, trip fees vary depending on the preferences
of travelers as we organize highly personalized, individual
itineraries that mix and match destinations, accommodations,
restaurants and activities, all of which are carefully
selected.

2. PAYMENT,
DEPOSIT AND PRICING
| 2.1 |
The travel contract will become
valid when we have consented to the conclusion of the
contract with you and received the initial refundable
deposit or the total tour fees including the deposit,
whichever is appropriate.

| 2.2 |
Details of the entire tour fees
are clearly set out in the invoice with every single
item broken down, and are calculated in Japanese yen
(JPY) with the Japanese Government Consumption Tax (5%)
included. Changes to this law will affect the fees charged.

| 2.3 |
A trip handling fee of 10% is included
in the total tour fees.
|

2.4
|
The total invoice will be sent to
you after you have consulted us and reached agreement
on all the details including accommodations, activities,
meals and transportation
|

2.5
|
The invoice is payable in full
no later than 30 days prior to tour commencement.
|
|
2.6
|
In the event that you fail to pay
the balance 30 days prior to tour commencement, we reserve
the right to cancel the trip and the cancellation terms
shown below shall apply in full.

2.7
|
The payment schedule is as follows:
- An initial refundable deposit equivalent to approximately
20% of the planned trip fees.
- Balance of payment due at 30 days prior to the date
of tour commencement.

3.
CANCELLATION TERMS
| 3.1 |
Cancellation can be made in writing by e-mail or fax.
Please note that there may be a considerable time difference
between Japan and the country in which your company
is located. The date of cancellation is deemed to be
the date on which TRJ receives written notice of cancellation
based on the Japan standard time.

| 3.2 |
No cancellations can be accepted after TRJ's business
hours (9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.). Cancellations requested
after business hours are dealt with the following day.

| 3.3 |
The refund
of third parties - Travel Service Suppliers - will be
made in accordance with the cancellation policy of the
respective travel supplier, not the policy we stipulate
above. |

4. CHANGES TO A TRIP
| 4.1 |
If you wish to alter the booking in any way following
receipt of the deposit, we may accept such alterations
on the condition that they are possible. However, drastic
changes including destinations will incur additional
planning fees.

| 4.2 |
Our cancellation terms shall apply in full when alterations
in the booking are made.
|
| 4.3 |
You are required
to pay any price differences incurred by the new arrangements
including accommodations, restaurants, transportation
and any other services. |
| 4.4 |
In the event
that we are forced to make major changes to the tour,
you will be informed about them at the earliest opportunity
and where possible offer you the following options:
a) to accept the major change(s)
b) to book an alternative trip or option at the current
advertised price, but a refund will be made in respect
of any price difference incurred by the new tour arrangement(s)
c) to cancel the tour and receive a full refund of the
price |

You agree
that some activities and destinations may be affected
by prevailing weather conditions and unexpected events
beyond our control. Should we have to change part of your
itinerary, we reserve the rights to cancel or alter that
activity or destination. In the event that TRJ has to
cancel an activity or destination, every effort will be
made to replace it with an alternative of equal interest
and value. If we do cancel your trip, we will refund what
you have paid us, but we cannot be held responsible for
losses you may incur with third parties, such as airlines
or hotels. |

5. PAYMENT POLICY
| 5.1 |
Payment will be made by credit card or SWIFT transfer
payable to our Bank A/C.

You will send
us a proof of payment via email or fax as soon as the
payment has been made, which would immediately allow us
to identify any mistakes concerning the transfer if that
occurred. |

When you make
a bank transfer to our designated bank account, you are
required to pay the remittance commission that your bank
charges, but not required to pay the receiving bank's
charge at our end. |
| 5.5 |
Payment is
complete when we have confirmed the transfer of the money
at our end. |

6. RISKS
| 6.1 |
Our trips may entail destinations where facilities,
infrastructure, and other standards may not be as sophisticated
as those in the countries where you reside. Medical
facilities and services may not be readily accessible
and may not be satisfactory. There are other risks associated
with trips, such as theft or loss of or damage to property.
Some of the services provided in connection with the
trip, including lodging, transportation, food service,
and local tours and activities, are obtained from third
parties.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
| 7.1 |
You accept any possible risks and assume full responsibility
for any loss, injury or damage. It is yout responsibility
to arrange your own insurance in order to cover these
risks according to your needs and your family or dependants.

| 7.2 |
You expect us to make every effort to choose suitable
travel service suppliers to provide services on the
trips, but never hold TRJ accountable for any operations
of these suppliers. Therefore, travel arrangements are
made on the condition that we will not be liable for
any conduct by them.
|
| 7.3 |
The services
provided by independent suppliers are subject to the laws
of the place where the services are provided, and any
conditions imposed by those suppliers. The liability of
the independent suppliers may be limited by their conditions.
|
| 7.4 |
In consideration
for participating in our trips you agree not to sue TRJ
in respect of all liability for economic loss and physical
or mental injury, direct or indirect, arising in connection
with the trip including permanent disability and death;
any emotional distress; any damage to or loss of property. |
| 7.5 |
You do not
hold us accountable for any delay in the performance or
any non-performance of the company's obligations under
the travel arrangements if the delay or non-performance
is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable conduct,
including but not limited to acts of God, war or threat
of war, terrorist activity, riot, civil strife, industrial
dispute, earthquakes or any other natural disasters, fire
or adverse weather conditions such as torrential rain. |
| 7.6 |
You do not
hold us liable in respect of transportation failure including
but not limited to delay in the outward or inward flight(s),
whether the cancellation or delay is caused by the weather,
airline rescheduling, industrial action or mechanical
failure. You agree not to ask us for any refunds or compensation
for lost time and services and activities scheduled in
the itinerary due to delayed or cancelled flights, cancelled
public buses, trains, or other forms of transport. |

It is necessary
for you to familiarize yourself with Japan's new immigration
policy, which may give you considerable discomfort. Foreign
nationals who apply for entry into Japan will be required
to be fingerprinted and photographed by means of special
devices, and then interviewed by immigration inspectors.
Failure to comply with the procedures will result in refusal
of entry into the country. It is imperative that you accept
what you have to undergo on arrival. |
